Carrie Morey and Callie White

Carrie Morey had an early introduction to the food world courtesy of her mother, caterer extraordinaire, Callie White. Callie’s unique style of Southern fare and global flair kept her booked years in advance for everything from casual Lowcountry gatherings and chic cocktail parties to celebrity wedding receptions. The client favorite – Callie’s unique country ham biscuits. So in 2005, when Carrie convinced her mother to postpone retirement and start Callie’s Charleston Biscuits, devoted biscuit fans couldn’t have been happier.

With six different varieties of biscuits and retailers all over the country, Carrie never dreamed that success would taste so good – buttery good that is. Carrie has succeeded in building a business that works with balancing a growing family and can be passed down through generations. What was once a biscuit legendary in South Carolina has now become a favorite across America.

Carrie and Callie have appeared on the NBC Today Show and The Food Network’s hit television show Unwrapped. Carrie was chosen as on of Martha Stewarts’s “Dreamers into Doers” in 2008 and Callie was named one of Modern Bride magazine’s top 25 trendsetters in 2007.
